Weird Logo Appears Centre Screen

Anyone know what LOGO this is? After running a quicktime movie and hitting the Apple W keys, sometimes it appears and sometimes it doesn't. And it just fades out and then the screen is back to normal.

Looks like the shapeshifter logo to me. Don't know why it would appear in the scenario you have detailed.
