Hi there,

So I’m in a bit of a pickle with my MacBook Air at the moment.

It’s hard to explain but occasionally (either during login or when using it) occasionally when I’m selecting something the MacBook will just deselect what I’m trying to select.

I’ll try to upload a small clip to show... but hope this makes sense if it doesn’t work! (Seems I cant from my iPhone !)

Has anyone heard or experienced this?

are you using external keyboard ?
I’m not no. Nothing is attached to the MacBook at all.

It’s alomost like a sticky key as when I press enter a bunch of times it seems to stop (I’ve taken the button off and use come compressed air on it) and it was all clean.

Try the Apple Hardware test..
Hold the D key during boot up.
Also I assume there was no liquid spill involved.
So far as I know no, no liquid spill. I’ll try that but can’t seem to figure out why it does it occasionally. (It’s more frequent after it’s been put to sleep with the screen down and opening to login but really annoying! )

Nothing was picked up...could it be a software issue?
