Weird phone behaviour, or is it just me?

Hullo all. I’ve recently noticed something. Would appreciate knowing if anybody else sees this.
Unlock your phone, leave for 5-10 seconds.
Depress the lock button, (only long enough to activate it).
Keep the phone in your hand for another 1-2 seconds.

Does it vibrate……….?

EDIT: Sorry, I should add. iPhone 5S32, 9.0.1

Mine doesn't ... maybe you're always getting a notification when you try this? Just weird timing?

Thanks for replying. Mine does this repeatedly. I could probably reboot or restore or do something but curiously I’d just like to know what it is.

I'll fiddle around through the course of the day. I'm TouchID'ing in, letting it sit 10 seconds, pressing lock ... maybe it's some weird timing thing.
