Weird Problem With Quicktime

Hi!

I find on my Mac (MDD 1.25 Ghz Dual; 2 Gig of RAM; Tiger 10.4.?) Quicktime (I am running the most current version of Quicktime.) crashes immediately after I launch it.

I also find that Finder will also crash whenever I attempt to preview a file. (This happens regardless of its file type.)
Pretty, weird. Any thoughts?

I have the same problem with my Macbookpro
2,16ghz 1gbram, 120hdd. I have installed flipformac. But get the same problem whatever file im trying. So if anyone has some good tips I would also really appreciate it.
