In the last couple of days I’ve noticed an odd screen issue along the left side of the display of my S1 Apple Watch. You can see from the attached image that it is an uneven fading along the edge. I’m not sure if it is slowly becoming more intrusive over time, but it is definitely new.

I wear the watch daily, but don’t do a lot of exercise or other activities where it might get damaged or exposed to water, etc. I’ve had it since June, and it has been flawless up to this point. Any thoughts about this, or has anyone heard anything similar? A Google search didn’t turn up anything.

What you're seeing is water damage. Your Apple Watch got wet at one point, which the Series 1 is splash resistant rated at IPX7. OLED is very sensitive to water, which your watch display will likely short out eventually.
