Hi guys. I've just bought logic pro and i'm a totally rookie, but it appears to me, that there is this kind of piano sound in the background every time i hit a button on my MIDI-board. I could be playing some drums, but there is still some piano stuff in the background. Do you know what this is and how i get rid of it?

it's probably a test tone or the tone coming from the midi keyboard itself. Look in the mixer (cmnd+2) if there are any more channels triggered to record (shown by the red R which only should be red for the one you want to record). be sure to click all to view all channels in your mixer.

also it might be another program that's also running.. be sure anything that understands midi else than Logic is turned off
