hey y'all.
today when I was putting my MacBook back in its sleeve I noticed that there was coppery looking stuff on one side on the bottom of the machine where the air vents (at least I'm assuming they're vents to aid in circulation) are.

any idea what it could be. I've attached a photo

What on earth could this be? Should I take my computer to an authorized repair service (SimplyMac in my area)

since I don't live near an Apple Store?

Thanks! I made an appointment through Apple with the SimplyMac folks for tomorrow. They’re the Authorized service provider near me.

Hopefully they’ll replace the bottom or something.
