Hit the home button twice to bring up the multi-tasking bar. Swipe to the right once so you see the ipod menu and press the icon all the way to the left. It is the screen orientation lock.

    Hi,

That just means you cant rotate the screen. To get rid of that, when you're on the springboard, double click the home button to bring up the "multitasking scroll bar" at the bottom and scroll all the way tot he left. It is the last icon on the left. Click that and then the symbol at the top will disappear and you'll be able to rotate.

    Hope that helps.

Double press home button, swipe finger to the right in the multitasking bar, select the left hand icon (Portrait lock), tap screen, sit back and chill :)
