Some weird things started happenin to my macbook pro( maverick OS) since today mornin....its like being controlled by someone else...from desktop it goes to dashboard...then back again...creates new folders itself...opens files automatically...when i move the cursor towards right, it some times goes to left and clicks somthin!!! Is it a virus attack?? Hav never experienced anythin lyk dis in my previous macs.....anybody else hd similar experience? Pls help.....

The issue may be spurious inputs.

Check to make sure you don't have stuck keys, or something contacting your Trackpad while you move your hands doing other things.

If you can, connect a USB keyboard and mouse, and see if the issue keeps occurring

Its will likely be your mouse cursor. Are you using an external mouse or are you just on your trackpad? This can happen if there is a fault with the trackpad or if you accidentally get a little bit of water on it.

Plug in an external USB mouse and turn off the trackpad in System Preferences and see if the problem goes away. If it does... its a trackpad fault.

Thanks a lot guys....it was indeed problem with the trackpad....had accidentally spilled some water on it....problem resolved!!!! thanks a lot again....
