I downloaded the update today and had some trouble:
First, my hard disk name has been changed to something like this:

valxxx0000=sdfsdfsdfsdfsdfsdfsdfsdfsdfdfsfjoiu2y41212341234v4321234v43212344v3223v1234v112342341234v4321234v4321234v4321234v432134v432123v432134v32142234324322314512345123461234632123464321234643213463212346321346321234612346123463213432612123463 (being xxx a slightly different version of my password) This is not much of a trouble but its weird and i dont remember the original name of the drive.

The second problem is more stressing. Any of my browsers ( safari, firefox) crashes in any site that has flash on it, no matter if its an ad or a youtube video. ive tried upgrading to the latest flash and also downgrading, but it makes no difference.

Please help me if you have any information. This is freaking me out

Weird. Hum. I have an odd problem too. When my I close the lid to my MacBook Pro thus putting it to sleep, then open it, the system tells me that the name is already in use and increments the name by one. I just rebooted, so I will see if this persists. I think I a was up to "Eric's MacBook Pro 6" by the time I finally rebooted.

The browser issues I am not having. I use Firefox, Safari 4, and Flock all OK so far.

I'm have the same symptom on my iMac 24". Name conflict upon waking up from sleep.

Having similar problems:
Flash videos are running slow for me since the upgrade. Also, Safari (upgraded too) is now very unstable and tends to get stuck randomly.

Ok guys i never thought they had something to do but the two troubles i had were related. I was afraid of changing again the name of my HD but I did and now flash works fine again and it doesnt crash 😀 . Maybe if some of you with different problems have found their hard drive renamed change it again to Macintosh HD they may fix if not then im sorry 🙁

Seconding the Flash problems. Old circa 2004 flash videos that would play fine on my 1.33GHz PowerBook G4 are now slowed-down or even freezing on my 1.8GHz Core Duo with 10.5.7. Also getting intermittent frame-rate drops on YouTube (a tragedy, I know 🙄).
