iPod touch weird typing issue

very strange typing issue whenever I type in a dialog box like on a forum or webmail page. When I type, each letter makes the screen move around the page. It returns to the dialog box and the letters get typed. But the screen jumps around to the top of the page and back to the dialog box. It does this as I type each letter!

It only happens on some pages. I guess j should do a restore but wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this.

Yes, many of us have experienced this. Do a search for "screen jump" and you'll see some posts about it.

I experience it maybe every fourth time I'm typing in a field in Safari, but there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason when it occurs. We're hoping that bug will be fixed in 2.1.
