I have a USB mic
Which I got to use Siri for text dictation etc - Its plugged into a USB hub and sometime it works when I invoke the double ctrl shortcut and sometimes it doesnt do anything - When I check all over my Mac I can see it as an input in Sound in Prefs and when I speak I can see the input level moving but nothing happens in any text field (iMessages , safari etc) - I also see the yellow mic in the Menu bar - any ideas ?
I literally just unplugged the usb and put it back in and it's working OK now again but I know in a day or so it wont be .... I dont leave it on all the time so could that be an issue ?
