Weird white lines on screen

Hey there,

I have a weird problem with my screen. I do have like a white line about 2 inches. It only shows on white background and as I put something with a darker color, it dissapears? Is this a nvidia graphic card default? I don't think it's related to dead pixels either. I have about 2 of those lines in different places on the screen.

Has this happened to any of you? Could it be because I damaged the screen?

Could be the nVidia card, if your MBP is one of the unlucky ones. You won't know for sure though unless you get someone to run the test on it. You need to take it to an Apple Authorized Service provider or an Apple Store.
