Hello..

I opened up the following:

System Pref>>Users>>Log In Items>>Highlighted one of the hard drives that I have start up and right clicked>>reveal in finder. This is what it looks like now.

See screen shots for finder view and desktop view.

1. What does this mean? I have done some google'ing using the terms yellow arrow OS X 6 etc. But nothing has come up.

2. Should I be worried?
3. How do I get rid of it?

Thanks

No need to panic. It's just how OS X displays a selected file or folder that's been labeled. The arrow is simply a shortcut in list view that allows you to see the contents of a nested folder without opening the folder.

To get rid of the yellow, right click (or control+click) on the item. Then under Label, click on the "X."

As long as you're in list view, the arrow is going to stick around.

AHHHHHHHHH.. I have been staring at the get info box for the past hour wondering what the hell I did. Glance right over the label section.

Thank you very much! Worked like a charm. I can now relax lol...

Thanks again.
