welcome screen, strange problem

Something went wrong updating to 10.5.2. When I boot my mac it takes me to the welcomecreen,the one you get when you've just. Installed a new OS. Once ihave filled everything in, it goes to the beginning again. I hope somebody knows a way around it.

I have exactly the same problem, posted mine just below.

Hopefully someone will explain a workaround.
