Jailbreaks/IOS Hacks
looks like i might have ruined my chances at an ios 10 jailbreak. I got impatient, installed yalu, and the next morning luca says to not install substrate fixer.

If i just delete mach_portal, will i be unjailbroken?

well, i did another dumb thing, restored from an itunes backup. i still have cydia but no mach_portal. My phone seems to be less glitchy now. hopefully an update for yalu comes out in the next couple days, i hate having half of a jailbreak installed (IE cydia, but no mach)

Eek. You'll either have to hold out where you are or restore and set up as new (unless you've got a backup without jailbreak on the same version of iOS).

I would tell everyone else to avoid this Luca JB for now STAY AWAY. It's meant for experienced developers only, and in no way meant to be a fun public Jailbreak we're used to.

In my opinion I don't think Luca should have even released thus alpha JB to the public, he should have kept it quiet until it was a gamma stable release.

Rumors are Luca might not ever update it at all now. We're just stuck with a half baked broken JB not meant for the public.

We need to wait for the Chinese to release their rumored 10.2 stable JB later this month.

Yeah, I'm very tempted to jump to 10.2. I'm left with an unstable daily phone and I didn't expect it to be this buggy or I wouldn't have installed it.

Why not just reboot and enjoy a stock iPhone while waiting to see what other developments arise concerning the jailbreak?

You guys should have stayed on 10.1.1 and waited.
No need to rush into such an early JB built full of bugs.
Back in the day those bugs would be corrected and things would have got straightened out within days or weeks.
Now as you can see its not the same, the particular dev seems like he has abandoned or not willing to fix a JB that he released to the public way too soon.
