After much consideration and after all the discussions and opinions, I finally took the plunge on a (new to me) iPad.
To make a long story short, I had an iPad Air 3rd gen that was taken by my fiancé, so I was looking between an iPad Pro 10.5 or Pro 11. After some forum discussions I thought I would wait until the new Pro’s come out (hopefully this year).
So yesterday evening I come across a used iPad, the description said like new iPad. From the photo I could see it was cellular enabled, I asked what screen size it was, they replied back 10.5. So now I’m thinking it’s a cellular enabled iPad Air 3rd gen, I asked the storage size, but since they reset the iPad, they didn’t know.
So we meet up, I give the iPad a very thorough look over, everything is flawless minus a very small scratch in the screen.......now comes the good news, it turns out to be an iPad Pro 10.5, WiFi and cellular with 512GB!!
I was more then excited at this point, and the best part was this cost me $200.
So thanks for reading, I just wanted to share my crazy lucky find.
P.S. my case and keyboard from my Air 3 obviously fit this iPad, so another bonus.

I'm extremely jealous!

I asked the seller why they were selling it and at that price, the answer was, “I don’t use it anymore, it’s been sitting for months, I’m just trying to get some extra cash at this point.”
I consider myself fortunate, maybe a little lucky also.

Most certainly! As @Seanm87 mention... it's at least double that. But as I always take it as it all depends on the location. Some places just value electronics differently.

That seems... suspicious.

That thought did cross my mind, I did some googling and everything checks out.......here’s to wishful thinking.

I paid £709 for my 256GB WiFi iPad Pro 10.5. That was retail price when I bought it in July 2017.

However I don’t begrudge the price you paid for yours. Well done.

It’s not hard to find a deal on a iPhone or iPad these days, plenty of people selling for cash, depending on how quick they need cash will determine the price.

That’s true, it does depend a lot on other people’s circumstances, I used to be a very active buyer/reseller on Craigslist many years ago, I remember one person said it wasn’t worth the hassle of trying to sell it on eBay and pay fees or sell it locally and have tons of people barter in price. Six months ago, I found the iPad Air 3rd gen that my fiancé took from me, from someone that bought it with the intention of using it for college and realized that they didn’t have a need for, it’s a 64GB WiFi only model, and they wanted $160 for it, I couldn’t pass that deal up either.

I completely agree with the statements above depends on how quick someone needs cash and how much they understand the Apple pricing system/value

I remember thinking I got a deal on my loaded 12.9 second gen. (LTE, 512GB, etc.) for around $550 on Amazon. Now the 10.5's are selling for that.

You got quite a deal!
