okay kids, don't follow furryrabidbunny's example and use protection. Knew the girl for only a few hours and did the stupid thing of not using a condom. Anyone else on MacRumors dumb like me?
very stupid. I'm not too worried... but i'll probably do the responsible thing and get a test (once I have health insurance again). I messed up this thread... i thought it wasn't submitted... I was goign to add a poll lol.BakedBeans said:You willie is going to shrivel up and drop off dude.

Chundles said:It's certainly one lesson you learn from very, very quickly. An ex-gf of mine and I had the awful experience for a while of waiting for results from a condom breakage - absolutely god-awful experience, very lucky nothing came of it though, wasn't really likely due to when the franger ripped (torpedo was in the tube but not ready to launch...) but there's always a risk.
I'm guessing you'll never, ever do that again eh?

Give the guy a break! He's a furry rabid bunny - it's natural for them wanting to breed like crazy. They're also immune to HIV as they're the wrong mammal......dextertangocci said:Thats precisely why 1/5 of the population in the country I live (South Africa) has AIDS. They get educated in schools about all the dangers etc, but end up doing it anyway becuase THEY ARE SO STUPID.

hate to be harsh. but you had so many options here and you messed them all up![]()

And maybe lighten up, he's already had these thoughts, and that's clear in the original post. He didn't commit any crimes, and he wasn't asking forgiveness. So I think that if you, "hate to be harsh" you should have saved it for a more opportune moment.
I'm not sure I've ever seen such a stunningly incorrect set of claims in a post outside of the OS/hardware forums.itcheroni said:Dude, I wouldn't worry so much if I were you. Chances are that nothing will happen. If you went down no here and didn't notice any outbreaks, that's a good sign. And does she seem like a trustworthy girl? The kind that would tell you if she had an STI? I met Nina Hartley, an ex-porn star, once and she said she's slept with over 1000 men and didn't always use a condom. She took a good look at their package and if it was clean, that was good enough for her. And she has no STIs. It's very hard to get an STI without the presence of an outbreak. It's more difficult for you to tell on a female but, still, don't feel like it's the end of the world. Worse scenario being you got an STI and you have to keep it under control like cold sores on your mouth now.
If the partner has no STI, then the odds are 0%. If they do have one - or more - the odds go up appreciably. Transmission rates of some sexually transmitted diseases approach 100% during unprotected sex, although, typically, they're much lower. So, if you multiply the odds that she had a disease (one or more) times the transmission rate(s) for those disease(s), you're probably not going to catch something with one encounter. Of course, the consequences of doing so make almost any risk pretty extreme. Add to that the fact that you don't really know that she was on birth control.whooleytoo said:Before jumping down the guy's throat - does anyone know the odds of contacting a STI from just one incident of unprotected sex? I'd imagine the odds are very, very small.
