with all of the apps that have been becoming available online, and cydia, I'm now onto my 9th page on my 3g.

having a hard coded limit is asinine in my opinion. I've got the 8gb with plenty of hard drive space left, but can't add anything else?! I guess i'd be a whole lot angrier if I had bought the 16gb and wasn't able to add anything more  ....

well, anyway, what are we doing about this?

PS: don't tell me to delete any apps. Thanks.

well your only allowed to have 9 pages of apps....thats all, if you want to put any more, you should delete some that you dont use to often...

you arent going to do anything about it. you are going to live with apples limit, and like it too.

this may be a dumb question but why do you need 9 pages of apps on your iphone?

How do you deal with that? It bothers me to no end just having the mandatory two dots on my springboard...

So you have around 128 apps? WTF do you have?

Mission critical stuff only. 67 social networking apps, 6 to do lists (hey, he's a busy guy), 5 movie apps, 4 tip calculators, 3 flashlights, 2 drawing apps and light saber.

Yes, it would be interesting to see his list of apps.

So it looks like there is a limit of 8 pages or 128 apps, including those that come with the iPhone.

Now I see. This makes perfect sense.

You have created the swiss army knife of iPhones, what do you have on there? :D

I suppose this is no different than having to manage your music, but damn I can't imagine having that many apps. :)

I bet it sucks scrolling and scanning though all those pages looking for the app you want. seriously, it highly unlikely that you're using ALL of those apps, just delete some.

I remember, back in the day, when we only had one screen, and were grateful for the opportunity..,

I would suggest not webclipping websites. save your 9 pages for apps, use the bookmarks in safari for web stuff. that way you should have plenty of room for all of your apps. And also, you probably don't need 4 different apps for turning your iphone's screen into a flashlight.

I am using 4 pages right now and I could delete half of them and still be happy. I am just lazy

I dont think there are 9 pages of apps in the store that are even worthy of being downloaded! LOL OP, you're going to have to share with us what you have and why you have them...we're curious what you are using! Just seems to me it would be way confusing and disorganized to have so many! Unless you use them on a regular basis, I would only keep the ones you use regularly on the phone and just sync others from your library as you think you'll need them.

You need the legal services of Lionel Hutz. You may remember him from such cases as Homer Simpson vs. the all you can eat restaurant, and his successful litigation against the producers of The Never Ending Story (running time 2 hrs). If I'm not mistaken, he also lobbied for fat carts in all grocery stores (and helped place them as close to the bakery as possible).

Only Lionel can help in this very special civil liberties case. What good is a store after all, if you can't buy every single thing in it??? More is more! Viva la more!
