Hey, at least now you know why Apple were so eager to promote the fact that Macs can now boot PC operating systems

Oh, and if you haven't played with Fink yet, you might want to try it out. It gives you ready access to most of the Linux tools you might be missing.

There is also Gentoo for OS X. The last time I peeked in (a few months ago), the Intel version still wanted more testing. Their wiki suggests that this is still the case, but there is a mailing list if you want to verify.
