Apple needs to be held accountable for their incompetence regarding timely releases.

Well what can we expect this year?

We can expect to get some new stuff but that it won't likely be the stuff that the blogs and analysts say. It will be stuff that many will call lame and trash but it will sell. Every bug/flaw will be hyped up as doom and gloom. Someone will scream that Apple has gone to pot since Steve died and this is proof.

and less than a day after the new stuff is announced someone will have alleged insider knowledge about the next version of whatever

i don't recall there being some law or moral duty to release on any particular schedule, to never change that schedule and/or to have to reveal anything ahead of time.

So where's the incompetence. Other than stuffed up some analysts butt waiting to be pulled out when he/she needs attention

Really? It's the beginning of March! But don't bet on an update till at least this summer. Apple won't do it.

A theory not fact. Apple could send out invites tomorrow for all we know

I would not know why anyone would be shocked a new gen did not come out or was not announced yet but as far as March goes, the month is not even half over regardless.
