I've just pared the system down to bare bones before I try out DFU mode but it's a bit odd!

Thanks guys. I've found before that the storage tab doesn't agree with other methods but there should be something to stop it quoting more available space than the drive possesses 😀
It makes it look a bit silly.

First thing I did when I saw it was reboot too 🙂 but it remained the same.

I've re-installed now, just to try out DFU mode from a 2012 rMBP. It worked 🙂
