Haha, right? Nah, just a humorous observation\well look at that type of thing really. Scared the **** out of me though, watch swung down and slammed into my desk, part of band in my eye, kids were screaming, in the distance the sound of explosions.
Only 3 months old but they agreed it was a defect so they replaced it today for me.
Theres a thread buried in here somewhere regarding this. Mine didn’t even make it a year (~8 months) and after reading that thread, I decided to just take the loss. All I need is for my band to snap and my watch go crashing down on the pavement. Luckily, mine snapped while I was putting it on over my bed. They can keep it.
So got the replacment today(different color, they no longer make green) and after one 5 mile run, it’s already showing a tear around the clasp. Granted, it’s a size 12 and my hand\wrist is huge so maybe I am stretching it too much but I don’t feel I am. I’ll just insist on a refund this time; I like the feel but clearly a design flaw.
I hear ya. Good thing you noticed that tear. The integrity of the material is compromised. Wouldn’t wear it anymore.
I was a fan of this band at first. Was very comfortable and felt as though the size 9 was made specifically for my wrist… but… I did notice some stretching over time to the point where I couldn’t use it for workouts anymore. It would spin too much around my sweaty wrist and the distraction of constantly adjusting it became too much.
Also, I can imagine there’s some stress to the band/watch locking mechanism by the stretching action. Had it for my S6 SBTi and to me it seemed like there was a lot more movement, over time, where the band meets the Watch.
