"Battery life" while its not an android con per se. It was certainly a pixel 3xl con. There are tons of android phones with excellent battery life like my s10 plus and note 10 plus

i last used iPhone 4s some eight years ago, then moved to Samsung S4, S5, S6. Out of nowhere fell in love LG G4 and G5, hovered back to S8 and S9plus and now finally planning to buy iphone 11pro max.
Its been a roller coaster ride for me :D :)

I gave Android a shot for a while with that Note that started catching fire (I forget which number it was) And I felt silly about this at the time but I came back to phone mostly due to iMessage... I felt kind of stupid switching back just over messaging but then I read around more and saw that it was really a thing..... on Android I just couldn't find a reliable messaging app where I can seamlessly get videos and pictures.... Plus mostly all my friends and family have iPhones and I was screwing up a few group chats being the only non-iphone user.

I don't think it's silly at all. iMessage and FaceTime are the biggest reasons I'm still on iPhone. To me it's not so much the hardware, I just prefer the ease of iOS. Sure, there's apps out there that can accomplish similar things, but Apple's native apps "just work" and like you said, with my family and most friends using iPhones it's that much easier.

I remember the S4, that was actually the last Android phone that I owned for personal use. And right after that, I migrated over to the iPhone for my ‘work’, and eventually abandoned android altogether. But the S4 had some really unique features that made it a solid phone, great battery life, even though made entirely of plastic, it had very few hardware issues.
