When will Apple release as MacBook Pro with 32GB RAM?

I voted for 2026 because June 27, 2029 was not an option. :p

(of course, by then it is always possible that nonvolatile memory will have become so fast that volatile memory is eliminated outright...plus we will all be driving cars powered by our own farts. That would be pretty cool, also.)

That would probably be pretty hot, and smelly...

I'm hoping RAM goes away ASAP myself, if only to stop the incessant discourse of how much exactly one needs.

When LPDDR4 is available they will use it, until then it just doesn't fit in with the power draw design of apples products.

Personally, I'm hoping Apple releases a MacBook Pro with at least 512 GB of RAM and a 64 GB GPU. I'm always in need of a good reason to sell a testicle to science to finance the purchase of electronics.

Apple will never release a 32GB RAM version, the cost of development is too high, Apple has zero desire for risk at this point, we are more likely to see the end of mac laptops in the next 3 years than see any new models!

What?!?!?!

The cost of development is too high for a company with a quarter trillion dollars just chillin' like a villian?!?!

Yes... have you not seen the ifone??? It is so similar in shape, performance, lack of expansion from generation 1 to generation 10... sure the screen is better..but the better camera comes at a huge cost...more data per image, and the same lack of RAM/storage......

Why is this??? Why not sell the 8 for $2000??? Have it with 16GB RAM, 256GB RAM, and some sort of new storage option, a new form of SD CARD???? The reason the ifone is so cheap is that it has zero spent on development...nothing, it is a $2 rehash of the iPhone 1!!

No desire for risk? I'd say the touch bar was a risk.
