Were iPad Wi-Fi issues discussed at the Apple Event?

it seems to be a problem with everyone. can this be fixed thru software?

also its calles os4.0 for the iphone, how can we be sure it's also for the ipad?

I have not experienced any of the wifi issues that others have spoken about. I also have about 10 friends with ipads who have not had any of these issues... Maybe some wifi radios are defective?
