Hello Everyone! This is my first post here, but I had bought a late 2006 imac back in 2007 from Apple. Right after the Applecare ran out, I had serious Graphics problems - Comp would not start up sometimes - glitches that would bug out the whole screen, missing pixels etc. I have to hard restart like 15 times in a row, just to maybe get it to start. Question is... was there ever a Recall on some of these? Is there anything I can do with Apple being this late in the game with it? Thanx!

I do not believe there ever was. Even if there was, most recalls have a limited time that Apple applies to them. Apple would probably not even consider looking at your iMac, as parts for it would be hard to find if not impossible. It would cost more to repair than to find a used 2006. Sorry if this is not the news you were looking for.

Just to add, the machine is considered obsolete now so Apple won't service it - even if you pay for it.

The machine is now 10 years old, have you considered replacing it?
