well, to be short, i accidentally knocked over a bottle and about a teaspoon of liquid fell on the screen. now, theres a bright spot on the bottom of my screen..its about the size of half my thumb... how can i fix this?

what type of liquid was it? and did it get into the display case?

if its just on the surface of the screen, you can probably use a paper towel and a little water to wipe it away.

if it got into the casing then i don't know if it could have damaged the screen itself or not.

Well to make a long story short my wife got pissed at me and threw my mbp in the sink and well.......water had gotten all in it.( Luckily she threw it in sideways. The Water level was to the trackpad on the right. Optical drive was soaked. Funny thing is, the mbp was on! All is good so far (even the relationship) its been about a month.

The LCD was the last to dry. It will take about a week. I kept using it and it had gotten smaller and smaller.

You can now barely see it. Just give it time. I think it would be ok.

definitely on the inside...atleast thats what i think..but im not sure whether this is a good sign or not, but it seems that its drying up...and when you look at it from a certain angle, you cannot tell the difference..its normal when you tilt it a little bit...

I had the same thing happen to my MacBook - it really bothered me, but after about 5 months it was completely dried up and no damage can be seen.
(This is in a humid place, so you might be able to do better)
