So now we know everything about activating it, so what about deactivation? I know there was a rumor about a week ago that there might be a $175 deactivation fee, but nothing was confirmed of that point. Has anything been confirmed yet?

Does anybody know anything yet or not? It will made my final decision.

Standard AT&T contracts include a $175 termination fee after the first 30 days. Inside the first 30 days there is no termination fee but you must surrender any equipment purchased on that contract. I wouldn't expect the iPhone to be any different.
