Hi,

I think I recall seeing a thread mentioning a website listing software/apps that are currently compatible with the new M1 Macs, either natively or through Rosetta 2.

Is there such database about external hardware?
eg: a list of USB/TB pro audio interfaces working/not working with the M1?
a list of photo/video cameras working/not working with the M1?
etc.

I hear the M1 Mini calling my name in agony... "buy me... buy me..." it says.
To which I always answer "sorry kid, nothing I currently use for making music seem to work with you".

So, really, more seriously, any way to easily check what's compatible or not on the hardware side of things?

Thanks.

About audio interfaces:

I've read on a couple of other websites and youtube that class compliant audio interfaces should work well; I have no direct experience though. When I'll receive my M1 Air I'll be able to see if this is true for my Steingerb UR22 MK2.. fingers crossed 🙂

Yeah, no luck for me. Most if not all of my stuff is listed, on their respective manufacturer/developer's websites, as not compatible with Big Sur (even with Intel) and M1.

My Mac mini (M1, 2020) cannot discover any of my Promise Pegasus units. The PromiseSTEX extension is Intel based and should be ARM-based, so waiting on Apple and/or Promise to fix this. The current PromiseSTEX simply cannot be loaded.
