It just occurred to me that the back of the iPhone 3G is a single piece of molded plastic, easily removable. It seems ripe for the development of a new 3rd party accessory avenue, colored backs for the iPhone with a plethora of designs, etc.

What does everyone think?
 
I guess they could start to make cases like what you'd see on the RAZR or whatever, but I think if you start opening up the phone, you're asking for trouble...IMO
 
might be hard, as in the teardown that iFixit did it seems there is stuff attached to the back cover
