what about the rumors - new notebooks

    Now I was waiting for good news on new apple notebooks from yesterdays keynote: nothing!:confused:

    Did anybody hear anything about new MacBooks / Pro to come?
    If so - please let me know - I really need a new one!

    No new computers until after the current promotion. So next week at the earliest.

    They were released yesterday, but not widely to the public

    You have to go to your local apple store and ask the manager for the "jobs special." Wink at him three times, then follow him into the back room.

    After answering a series of trivia questions, the new MBP will be yours.

    I thought I made myself clear with "trivia questions" but I guess not.

    Not a problem, the manager in my local Apple shop is female.:p

    Steve jobs has secretly killed anyone who knows Kevin Roses' name within the company. It's going to be tough to find out, and you don't want to be killed by Apple's version of the KGB do you? :eek:

    64 years old but still looking kinda good, right?!?! :)

    Anyway, thanks for all your replies. Looks like I have to be happy with one of those old things I guess!

    You did read the rumours about oct 14,right? I hope there are new MacBooks by the end of October
