That was the single most bizarre movie I ever saw. I felt that there was too much plot in it so they had to squeeze down a lot in order to fit it into one movie, may have been easier to follow had it been two or so. I also thought the mixture of CGI people and flesh people was a little disjointing. Some stuff I could see being better with CGI but not most of this I don't think. Live actors would have done the trick and probably better I would think.

Overall is was by far one of the most interesting movies I ever saw. I would love to see another director in the future do a re-imagining of it though.

Seems like I must have watched a different film to the rest of you. Plot was terrible, acting awful and CGI looked like something out of the new series of Dr Who.

I watched this film entirely in response to this thread, I shan't be listening to the recommendations here any longer.

If you also thought that this film was awful then perhaps we have something in common, in which case may I suggest, "Thank You For Smoking".

I enjoyed "Thank You For Smoking". :)

That said, this movie (Immortal) is on it's way to my house via Blockbuster Online. I'll offer my opinion of it after I watch it. Should be here tomorrow or monday. In the meantime, I have Crank to tide me over until then.

I've got a cold, and it's weakened my already limited ability for original thought, but I do believe vniow summed the shared opinion of my wife and I on this film.

We Netflix'd it and we recently reviewed it with 2 or 3 stars.

PS:"Thank You For Smoking" was great.

Watched this movie last night, or at least the first hour or so of it, then I fell asleep.

This movie could not keep my attention, despite the fact that I really, really wanted to like it. The trailer looked great, the premise for the movie was pretty original, and amazing things were promised. I'm disappointed in you, skunk. ;)

That said, I may try and finish the movie another time, but probably not anytime soon.

I give this movie two Apple's.

(Sorry, I just needed an excuse to use the Apple smiley. :D )
