So, the age old question. Why did you jailbreak. What are the few apps that keep you jailbroken instead of updating iOS when available?

For me, its DEFINETLY Infinifolders, f.lux, and Springtomize in unison. If I lose one, I might as well go back to normal.

What about you. What are the apps that are basically the reason you jailbreak, and the reason you don't update?

IntelliscreenX -- the top shelf option is too awesome!
bitesms -- they offer too many features that the stock app don't. i could be wrong though, they could have caught up to bite. once i started using bite when i jailbreaked at 4.2.1, i never looked back.
    Installous -- self explanatory
THEMES/winterboard -- (is that allowed? :p) i think that's my biggest reason to Jailbreak

Lockinfo -- honorable mention since i was highly dependent on it before i went to ISX

i want to say that's all i really need, but who am i kidding? i know even if i had to part with any single tweaks/mods/app, my world would be lost lol

IntelliScreenX. If I just had that I think I'd be ok.

I'm very tempted by isx, but I've been with lockinfo for 2 years and might find the switch a bit strange.

There's a free trial so give it a go! You have nothing to lose. Some people use a combination of both so you might find that suits you.

I don't get why everyone loves bitesms. From many pictures I've seen, it really isn't that different from the default SMS app.

Bitesms is great as you never have to leave the app you are in to respond to a text

Maybe you should try it out. Most people love the way notifications are handled and how you reply to messages but I actually use banners and Messages+ for replying to people. The features of bitesms that I use are: always open to chat list, display pictures, timestamps, notification privacy, retry on failed, status bar icon.

For me, it's mainly their gorgeous quick reply and quick compose features. It has numerous other options (delay sending, scheduled sending, plus a bunch of other options in the QR/QC popup). I bought bite like 2-3yrs ago and just haven't looked back. Tried ISX quick reply for a while (NO need for the full ISX) but bite was just a better experience for me (and I tried ISX QR for about a week).

Huge difference from the stock app.
Tons of more usefull features and options.
If you try it once you will love it.

    biteSMS
    SBSettings
    WinterBoard
    FakeClockUp
    gpSPhone
    Springtomize 2

A few other tweaks that just make it pleasant.
