Oohhhh thread revival…

Wanna add since last post in July, I bought XPlane and NetShare (Of course NetShare is useless since I never bought an iPhone—planned on it, but didn't)

MixADot

I just downloaded a game yesterday called MixADot, and it's actually a lot of fun. It's a puzzle game kind of like Bejeweled or Trism, but has this cool idea of being able to mix two game pieces together... if they're both primary colors they combine into one game piece of the corresponding secondary color. Anyway, I like it a lot so I thought I'd share my thoughts. Linky:

I Love Katamari. Two common complaints are controls and frame rate (as the ball gets bigger it appears move in slow motion.) The controls also need to be improved. Super Monkey Ball was too sensitive, Katamari isn't sensitive enough. But I don't find it unplayable. It's good fun.

Instapaper. This is very useful. It allows you to save web pages/articles to read later on your iPhone/Touch. On your computers browser you add a tab bar link to save web pages. Just click it to save the page. Then in the iPhone/Touch app it downloads all the links (via your free account) so you can read them whenever you have the time.

what is story z?

Storyz is something like social networking over the phone :) it basicly allows you to send pictures, videos and text to multiple friends (something like group MMS chat) but you get to keep your privacy in a way that you can choose who can see the content that you've sent.

that's the best explanation that i can give you :) but you can check it out on it's web site, it's www.storyz.com

i think you can also find it in the app store, it's free

Here are my last interesting downloads

  • SPiN : an addictive game in 3D
  • Poker Trainer : How to be better without loosing any money

What apps have you downloaded????

I've downloaded quite a few but the ones I find the most useful/fun are

Instagram- turns your photos into art

COMMUNILATOR-really great new language translation app with cool features

Urban Spoon- must have if you travel and/or eat out a lot

Zappos- you can never have enough shoes
.
I think those are the good ones.

Hey guys, so the best game I have for my smartphone is Parallel Kingdom. Like for anyone who wants to try it you can download the game from its website www.parallelkingdom.com. Basically, Parallel Kingdom is an mmorpg that uses the phone’s GPS program to pinpoint your realworld locale and then that’s where you play in the game. So the game’s overworld is the realworld, except with a fantasy twist. Like how successful you are at the game is often dictated by the allies you have, so I would love it if you guys would join me. My PK name is TheChosenOne. :D

This thread is an epic example of thread revival, lol. This thread is so old, the OP was asking about what Apps people were downloading... in anticipation of iPhone OS 2.0; which introduced the App store and the ability to install third party Apps! Hence the purpose of the thread, what apps are you going to install first when your iPhone has been granted the ability to run them!

Revived twice!
