There is another requirement for Apple stores: not where any MR member especially wants a store :p.

One way they get demographic data is by drawing upon the information that you enter such as when you start up a computer with Mac OS installed for the first time.

Well Dublin has 2/3rds of the Apple mix but the last 1/3rd is location.....

Well, there's no reason why that should be a problem either, whether you mean the 'desirability' (uggh, I hate these terms) of the city (half of Europe is moving here!) or the actual availability of suitable premises in a suitable address - both boxes are ticked a dozen times!

I say Edmonton, cause im moving there next month...
even Calgary im ok with.

Amsterdam please, thank you.

Or maybe the 'premium retailers' aren't that bad after all, there are at least 4 of them in central Amsterdam.

One would think with a company that earns so much money per retail store that it would hurt to begin opening up even more stores. I am hoping that if the plans work out for the new upscale shopping mall here in Waco, Texas that we might see an Apple store. Though this is apparently not going to happen for another couple of years.

There's still one in Chinook Center in Calgary, AB. It could be the saddest little thing ever. :D

I was at the Chinook center in the early/mid 90s and thought it was a cheezy kinda place, IIRC. God, I miss Zellers

On that note, I'm surprised I still remember it. Soon as I saw "Chinook" I thought "I've been there!"
