Hi, I found the stock charger charging the M1 iPad Pro 12.9" too slowly. How much faster can the Apple 30W USB‑C Power Adapter charge it? Is it the best alternative?

I believe that the iPad Pro will fast charge at the maximum rate when you are using any PD charger that is 18W or more. The 20W charge that was shipped with your iPad is probably going to be as good as you'll get, but you might read the article below and see if it helps.

There is no harm in getting a 30W (or higher) charger and giving it a try, but I don't believe it will make a difference.

I'm pretty sure the iPad will pull well over 30W. So throwing 30W charger at it will definitely help. There are lots of good 45W-65W chargers from Anker and others.

Keep in mind that all devices slow down charging when they get closer to full, this is to help preserve the battery health as there is more strain on the battery the fuller it becomes.
