What are my chances of a 6S+ Gold or Rose Gold 9/25 at a Apple Store?

Hey guys I've been following many threads here an I haven't really seen it asked or discussed.

I couldn't preorder the 6S+ due to funds until today. I preordered the 64GB Gold 6S+ at my local best buy, which says I will get it on 9/25 (at least in theory) but it's $50 more through them. I also only wanted 16GB but I couldn't preorder that, only 64GB. I also want the Rose Gold.

So I think I'm gonna go get in line at the Apple Store Thursday night. If I did that, what are my chances of a 6S+ 16GB Rose Gold or Gold?

On the day you pick up the phone tell them you want to price match the Apple Store. It's store policy, they HAVE to price match the full retail price if it falls within Best Buy's company guidelines, which it does. And if they don't want to do it, ask to speak to a manager and calmly explain the situation.

Either the Rose Gold or Gold, doesn't matter that much. More interested in it being 16GB, but I wouldn't mind a 64GB.

What are my chances of any Verizon 6S+ on 9/25 at the Apple Store?
 
You have a better chance at the Apple Store. Best Buy is the worse to pre order . Had a bad experience at best buy for my 4s. Pre ordered and got it like two weeks after.
 
I think the same as me walking into the NYC store and being personally greeted by Tim Cook and then him slipping me the next 3 iPhones and a 5K iMac on the way out.

It really depends on the traffic in your area. You'd probably have a better chance at Best Buy versus the Apple Store. My local Apple retail store is just down the street, but I wouldn't dare go there for any product launch. Get there early! Good luck.
 
I work at BestBuy Mobile. We had a meeting today with our DM today,we don't even expect to have enough units to fill preorders our store got. Go to Apple.

I'm curious as to whether or not Apple stores will have additional stock solely for walk-ins. I have a 6s+ preordered but it's not going to ship until 10/12-10/19 so I may try my luck at Apple Store starting this Thursday into Friday.
 
As a walk-in? Slim to nil unless you line-up overnight. Gold might be found, rose gold will be nonexistent. I have my same hopes when I go in for my reservation - my partner is on a 16 GB phone and would love to get her off of it before I get my 6S Plus - but don't expect them to have anything.

Wow, my local store said they only got 10 preorders in total so far regardless of the color. I didn't have a problem last year getting one from that mobile store, maybe rose will be limited though initially but I'm not getting that color.

Granted I do work at a very busy store in a very wealthy area. I think when I checked last we had about 75 or so? The regular 6S I believe we should have enough of those. What will be hard to find is 128GB both models,rose gold both models,and the 6S Plus models.

Heck we barely get the 128GB models of the 6 models in now.

Bestbuy will price match Apple.
 
Hopefully it's a bit better than the gold 5S where the flagship Apple stores literally had 2 or 3 of them, but I would think that if you weren't one of the first 10-20 people in line, you're probably hosed. No one knows for sure, but judging by how quickly pre-orders on the pink 6s+ slipped past the 9/25 date, I would think that they are in pretty slim supply.
 
6+ rose gold is almost 0 chance to get it in store unless you are one of the first 10 or 15
 
You have to be one of the very first. That model and color will be extremely hard to get if you didnt preorder. Unles you get the plus on another color like gold or silver.

It's a fine line,were technically not supposed to price match contract phones and such. But,most stores will just do it because we make the sale and you will probably buy a case and screen shield and possibly Geek Squad. I never understand why you would loose a sale over such a small amount TBH.
 
You can go online and try to reserve the phone in store. If they don't have it, they will show you what they do have for 9/25 pick up. All my local Apple Stores in SoCal have Gold, Silver, and Space Grey 16GB in stock for day 1 pick up. Not a single store in CA has a Rose Gold for 9/25 pick up.
 
Whats in your favor is that the 6S doesn't appear to be as popular as the 6.
Its worth a shot. Seems theres a lot more 6s phones around on the carriers sites.
