What are some really nice tweaks?

Personally, I have a bunch of Activator shortcuts, including:

  • Holding Volume up/down buttons while locked to advance/go back songs.
  • Volume up then volume down activates the flashlight
  • Volume down then volume up is Play/Pause

Yes. I installed it tonight, and it added them for all the messages, including ones that were sent before the hack was added. There must be a date built into the phone's message that is subsequently read and rendered by this. It's quite well done.

And the name of this hack is??

Did a search in Cydia for Pandora, and didn't find much. Not sure if I'm missing a repo, or if 'Pandora' isn't in the tweak's name.

hahahaha, what a terrible example......you act as if you have a homemade alternative. if you can cook up your own free version of barrel, go right ahead.

i never said i was going to make my own homemade version. i'm just stating that it's overpriced and it's pure aesthetics. i didn't "cook up" my own free version but i did get this tweak for free. :rolleyes: $2.99 = ridiculous for barrel. i wouldn't even pay $.99 for it.

Switcherplus - lockscreen access to multitasking bar
Multiiconmover - move multiple icons at once
Asvibra - triple vibrate on silent for sms/email

Recent Delete Call Log - delete individual calls from history

Navigate from maps - adds a direct launch shortcut from gmaps to tomtom
Removerecent - only shows apps that are running with multitasking on the multitask bar

SwitcherMod - Elegantly shows you whats running in the background and what isn't, able to drag apps off instead of hitting red X
Open Notifier - Great version 1 release. Beautiful status bar notifications. Looks stock (that's important to me)
WiCarrier - Show wifi network name instead of carrier name when on wifi
iRetiner - uses high quality iTunes app art to make low def icons retina quality. This really does work.
 
umm someone should take down mention of the pandora hack, it's similar to the hackulous repo

I'm tempted to run iRetiner, pretty ingenious to use the iTunes folder icon already there, just concerned about future stability issues :p

sbsettings,markthatmesage,5 icon dock,infinifolders, no spot and a couple other tweaks for me :)

And for everyone, iRetiner works flawlessly, no more needing to create bundles just to make an icon HD :)'

[Side note: It doesn't work on Cydia apps, obviously]

how so? It's just allowing you to avoid dumb ads & unlimited skips. The app is free to begin with. You must be against the DVR and love to suffer through commercials. Get real.

It's piracy because the licence agreement that Pandora has you agreeing to includes you not violating their agreement to only allow so many skips.

And? So I'm guessing you never copied a cd from somebody or bought MyWi. It's all the same. Nothing is straight black & white.

Copying a CD is not piracy if you own the CD.

I don't use MyWii.

Whether I pirate or not is irrelevant, the forum rules are clear -- no advocacy of piracy.

Personally, I think piracy is not that big a deal, but I respect the rules of the forum to not discuss/advocate it.
