I plan on buying a used AVP and will be meeting up and would like to know what things I should look for when testing it out? They said they will put it into Guest mode and allow me to try the device before buying.

Just have a look at the general condition of the AVP. Look at the cussion of the light seal whether it is sweaty or greasy. Also have a look at the front glass. There were some AVP that developed a vertical crack right in the middle above the nose starting at the bottom. (Apple repeiars it for free, but it is a flaw)
Also look at the inside at the "screens" - scratches from cleaning.
Running it - it runs or it does not run. Nothing special to control.

I just bought a used M2 512 GB Vision Pro. I thought I'd share my experience to help you and anybody else out who's looking to buy used.
At first, I was only going to go with swappa because there seems to be a more diligent process in making sure what's being sold isn't a scam. But after a while, I got more comfortable with eBay, where the better deals are tbh.
The biggest help in buying used now is the introduction of the AppleCare One plan. This means you don't have to look for a vision Pro that still has AppleCare Plus on it. If it's out of warranty, you can still buy it and add it on to your existing AppleCare One plan.
You can do all the negotiation beforehand before you place your offer. One additional step I did was with the person I bought from, after I finalized the purchase, I made them transfer the AppleCare Plus to me just to be on the safe side. This made the process easier for me to add it to my AppleCare One.
Lastly, the seller had mentioned they had a 21W light seal, but when it arrived it was a different size. So make sure you ask for a picture beforehand showing the measurements. Luckily, I was able to work out a partial refund, which is what I use towards getting the correct light seal size. And now a nice perk of the runaround is I do have an extra light seal for a $33w should anybody else ever want to try my device out.

I bought a used M2 256 Vision Pro off of eBay I thought I would share my experience with you guys
I’m actually writing this on my Apple Vision Pro so at the beginning of March, I started looking through the different eBay ads for used M2, Apple vision pros I was told by a couple Apple employees to be looking at prices between $1,500 and $2,000 I was able to find one at 1850 with everything that came in the box minus the box but got the Apple travel case and I wanted a brand new light seal so I purchased my 21W and I purchased the new dual knit band one thing about buying it off eBay is there was a lot of unsureness. I asked the seller to send me more photos and a video of the device running which they gladly did device looked flawless so I ended up purchasing it. I received it a day early and it was literally only three days when I got it I opened it and set it up to my surprise. I was able to purchase AppleCare under the AppleCare one program. It is been a life changer. I was using my quest three which was underpowered to do what I do smooth like butter and much clear in the M2, Apple Vision Pro
