Does the heart rate reading work any better than stock?
If I were "serious" about heart rate, I'd get a bluetooth HR strap. Electric cardio impulses are always going to be more reliable than pulses of blood flow. Plus, people have been saying that BT draws much less power than running the green LEDs.

I use motifit combines with a polar BT chest strap. Love it. Syncs with MFP perfectly.
I've starting rowing a bit, and the build in workout app sort of does the VERY basic in this matter.... I feel like I would like a bit more "detail" though as it's hard to see in this if I'm getting better or faster or what.. Does Gymaholic work with rowing?
