iPhone 12 Pro What are the ACTUAL display improvements in the iPhone 12 Pro Max?

Comparing my 12 Pro Max next to the 11 Pro Max, my 12 Pro Max has a much clearer and crisp screen. However, I dont see Apple touting any display enhancements when compared to the previous generation.

Are there actual any or am I just seeing things?

For me as an iPhone 11 Pro max owner: The design. It is so much easier to hold in one hand! For me its more secure in my hand. When I went outside I always had a case on my 11 max because it was so slippery that I almost destroyed it on the first day of usage. With the 12 Pro max I will go caseless except for Gym.

I personally haven’t seen any display improvements from the 11 Pro Max. Looking side by side, the 11 Pro Max actually looked a bit brighter, but the screen was displaying more white content so I think that’s why it looked different. Besides that, the display being a bit bigger is nice, but I can’t see any differences besides that

To me it looks smoother when scrolling. Obviously it’s not 120hz but it doesn’t smear as much when scrolling fast, like it’s got a faster pixel response time
Also the colours are better and richer, maybe it’s due to having to display more colours now due to the Dolby vision HDR, which they said captures many more colours than before?

It’s the same screen, for the most part.

I had them side by side with 11 max brightness. Exact same head on.

minor difference was a slight improvement in the screens shift

Honestly, you want the 12 for the modem. I can’t believe I stood the modem in my 11 pro max. That’s where the huge difference is.

How much better is it though? Here in the uk on regular 4g, I’m getting same number of signal bars in the same locations. I have noticed the Bluetooth cuts out less when I’m listening with my Sony wireless earbuds

Like at least 2-3x better? I’m talking a huge improvement. Think Apple CPU but for the modem.

It worked for me. True Tone on yellow screen. True Tone off perfect screen. Same with the 11 Pro Max.

Yeah I made sure that was off too... I also tried the tint color trick but that didn’t even do much.

Same here: 2x to 3x better in my typical areas on LTE.
