Reading List is built in to Safari.

Instapaper is the best premium alternative.

Instapaper used to be good, but the recent updates caused problems. The best imo is Pocket (Formerly Read It Later). Available for Mac and iOS and it's free.

I love pocket. Works great and is available on pretty much every platform. There are plugins for Chrome and Firefox so add to pocket whatever you want to read on the go. Open up pocket on your phone and the pages are there waiting. Wonderful app.

I'm also chiming in as part of the crowd that suggests Pocket. I've been using it on all my devices (OSX, iOS, Windows, Windows Phone) and it works perfectly on each of them.
