I really like how you can answer calls with the standard Apple headphones but that is about all i like about them. What are the best headphones to use with the iPhone that still has the ability to answer calls?

Having been using etymotics hf2 for last 6 months or so know and I cannot fault them. Use them on the tube and seems like there is only Simon, Garfunkel and me there!
I took the stock iPhone headphones and put SkullCandy ends on them. Cant even tell they're not production and they work wonderfully.
well the BEST ones are gonna be like 500.
I have NuForce NE-7Ms from Amazon.com, they're only 50 bucks but have rave reviews and are often compared to $200 headphones. I put Shure E2C black silicone tips on them which even make them better.

Yeah I agree, talking with IEMs are very awkward.
That said, I did own a pair of Phonak Audeo earphones with the mic, but I only used it mainly for the button.
IEM come in really handy when you biking or on a run... which I do a lot because I bike on to campus every day.
