My slacker Apple store was unable to have me pickup the phone, on the Apple app it said "unavailable" but other stores in my area (but too far to go to before work) were available. So I did delivery to my work for 9/21. I don't open on Thursday 9/20, what's the possibility these deliver a day early?

Won’t happen. Even if the shipping status say it’s going to, it won’t. Even if it’s sitting in the ups hub next door to you...it won’t. There’s holds on the package and carrier will not deliver until the 21st. Won’t let you pick it up either.

It's very rare (though not unheard of) for an iPhone to slip through a day early. Carriers are good at holding shipments as directed until release day.

Do you have to sign for the package? I live in a condo building and I suppose I can work from home that day but I wouldn’t know they were here unless they call me or something. I can maybe change the delivery location to an ATT store and pick up? Any suggestions?

Cool, now how early do I have to get to work? Do they use UPS or Fedex? I know local delivery times vary, what's usually the earliest?
