just asking but what would the purpose be of a 3G MBP? Every business trip I go on, even across the pond, I can always find Wi-Fi.

To be honest, it would likely canablize sales of the iPad. However, it any model were to gain a GSM/HSPA modem, it would be the MacBook Air, as it is aimed as business professionals.
