It won't be 4K that for sure best bet is 2K but this is Apple so don't be surprised if it comes with a 1080p OLED display, which tbh is more than enough due to pixel count & less taxing on both cpu/gpu & battery.

The cost of a higher resolution comes at the expense of battery life and FPS, and the noticeable improvements in display quality after 350+ PPI really drop off quickly.

Doubt Apple's gunna do that.

1080p is fine for a screen that small, any visual gains beyond that are a secondary concern to battery drain.

I'm sure this will change when battery tech improves.

Yes, the poll question is confusingly worded.

1080p is fine...if the op wanted higher, look elsewhere.

Agreed. I like the screen as it is now, and probably wouldn't notice any improvement.

Do we really need 4K on such a small device. My iPhone 7 Plus has the same screen resolution as the 48inch TV in my living room and even that still looks great to me at 1080p. I think it's only spec enthusiasts who enjoy bragging rights that are bothered by screen resolution at this stage.
I'd take a genuinely new innovative idea over an unneeded resolution bump any day.

I think the OP is just looking for bragging rights. More than 1080P is just unneeded strain on the battery and processor.
