Regular iphone 14?
Basically the iphone 13 with more RAM. Same design, notch, camera, and A15. The only new thing is the iphone 14 Max, which will be at the size of the Pro Max iphone, but with the same internals as the regular 14. That's about it so far, with some rumors of price increase.
For 14 Pro:
Price increase, pill shaped notch, A16, higher megapixel main camera, eSIM only in some markets, increased base storage to 256GB.

If these rumours are true, I might actually upgrade this year then.
They’re replacing the notch with an asymmetric pill/punch hole monstrosity on the Pro models. It provides no benefit and appears to be more distracting than the notch.
It offers no functionality benefits, but if it does happen, it shows the next design language Apple is moving to. Notch will become old news as that asymmetrical pill hole will slowly be adopted to all the iphone lineup in the future. Apple tend to use design not for functionality per se, but as an icon of recognizable design. I mean look at those huge notches on MacBooks for no reason.... 😆
Also expect the Chinese copying it next year or so by adding a hole beside the regular lunch hole. 😂
Will be interesting how it will look on the future iMac and macbooks.
I don’t think I would mind it too much on a MBA/MBP and it may even look better than the notch which is present in the design for no reason. I could end up changing my mind on the new design once I get used to it. I recall hating the notch when I first saw it on the X prior to becoming soft on it years later.
At least, with the additional room, users will get to see a battery percentage… that’s the only benefit I can think of. The notch is 5 years old now so it is definitely time to move on. I personally would have preferred an even smaller notch to the 13 rather than what we are getting.
Notch never bothered me. I will be getting the 14 pro max and while I don't hate notch I'm glad is gone. This will be next thing on the iPhone. Looking forward to it.
