Assuming that they are coming in April, do you think they will be loaded with AMD RX 460 (mobile) for the base 27" model, then RX 470 and RX 480 for the upgraded ones?

I'm in the market for one and the only thing keeping me from pulling the trigger is the GPU... I'm going for the mid 27" configuration which has 390M, I'm not sure how faster the new mid one will be.

Please advise :)

Difficult to say, there are some new graphics cards from AMD due out very soon and they look like they will be a bit more like it to b honest. Apple may try and skip Polaris and go straight to vega.

While I appreciate the fact that Vega is the newer and more powerful card... it just delays the iMac even more. Have Apple ever released a Mac during WWDC before? I think not...

Part of me speculates that iMac will come with Kaby Lake desktop CPU, RX 460-470-480 (and if there's an option for RX 470 I'll buy in the heart beat). Maybe TB3, USB-C and Touch Bar keyboard will come for the next gen...

Tb3 USBc will be there on the next update I'm pretty sure.

The new Dell XPS 27 All-in-one uses AMD's M470X and M485X which are just re-badges of the iMac's current ones.

My guess is that Apple is waiting for the true mobile Polaris chips which won't carry the "M" badge. Polaris is as efficient as Pascal, so there's no reason why the iMac shouldn't be able to handle the desktop RX 480, or the 470 at least.

I don't think Apple will release TouchBar keyboard. Immagine how much would that cost. Who's gonna pay 170-200$ for a keyboard?!
Probably the iMac will not have any "touchbar".
