I agree.. reinstalling your OS is more satisfying then cleaning your house haha.. I do so every 8 weeks or so.

i'm an absolute whore about keeping my macbook clean. every hair, piece of dust, smudge on the screen, and fingerprint on the shell must go.

i also must keep my desktop clean and themed. like if i'm using a dark background, i'll choose icons that go with it, etc.

i'm also anal about keeping my dock clean and compact

Any find that if you also own a windows computer you don't do half this stuff? My desktop on my Mac has to be clutter free, but on my older windows computer, the inch of the desktop used to have some folder or file on it. haha
